In  March 2021, Heather recorded 'Laude, for John Tuach' by Marcus Barcham Stevens
Laude, for John Tuach by Marcus Barcham Stevens was commissioned by Heather Tuach and recorded by Phil Hobbs (sound) and Boris Bizjak of Hedone Records (video and editing) at Pyrton Church in March 2021.

'It is a virtuosic and joyful celebration of life, inspired by Turlough O’Carolan’s Concerto, one of dad's particular favourites. Happy memories of dad strumming tunes on his mandolin will remain with me.'- Heather Tuach

John Tuach was born in Ullapool Scotland in 1950, from a long line of stone masons. University studies in geology brought him to Newfoundland. After an eventful career in mining and exploration, he went back to his roots when he started the first flagstone business in western Newfoundland. His son Kenneth now runs the business, a sixth generation stone mason! In retirement John discovered new interests in birding and in writing stories and poems. He wrote hundreds!
